What’s Happening in Counseling

1 in 4

Let Counseling help you

In October, join us as we spotlight and raise awareness on a number of mental health and wellness needs at SWIC and in our communities. Nationally, 1 in 4 people have a mental illness and 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will suffer from abuse during their lifetime.  You may be that 1 who needs help or the 1 who can help. All month, we will be collecting wearable shoes to donate to victims of domestic violence and the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois. Donation containers will be located around campus and at the Counseling Center.
