Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC Educational Employees full-time grant funded staff position of Senior Reservationist/Dispatcher.
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this full-time externally funded position is responsible for the full operation of the reservation and dispatch processes for client transportation. Utilize the existing computer programs to ensure accurate, timely entry of client information and implementation of scheduling services. Assist the Director, as necessary, with the overall administration of the transportation program. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring timely and accurate flow of information between the Director, the Operations Manager, the Assistant Director and other program elements including co-workers and subordinates. Ability to work irregular work schedule (afternoon, evenings and weekends) as required. This position is dependent upon external funding.
- High School diploma/GED and three years of experience using computers in appropriate applications required. Associate degree preferred.
- Two years experience in working with the public preferred.
- Work experience with transportation services agency desirable.
The starting salary is $28,844.
