Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the full-time, grant funded, administrative position of Caregiver Consultant.


In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a full time grant-funded position which is generally scheduled to work 40 hours per week. The work consists of managing a clinical caseload of older adults and caregivers of older adults regarding their situational difficulties and resources to assist them. In addition, this position assists as appropriate with community education and support programs. Works with limited supervision. This position is dependent upon external funding.


  1. Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling required. LCSW or LCPC preferred. May consider licensure applicants in need of clinical supervision to obtain licensure.
  2. Two (2) years post graduate work in mental health counseling and /or with older adults preferred.
  3. Must have a valid driver?s license, proof of automobile insurance, and a personal vehicle available for business use.


$30,000 to $32,000

Work Location

PSOP building, but on site visits occur throughout St. Clair County and other areas as appropriate.
