Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC Educational Employee part-time, grant-funded position of AmeriCorps Field Coordinator/Training and Development.


In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position is responsible for two key components of the AmeriCorps program: training and development and community service. Work is completed both independently and with other staff. Additionally, position is responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation regarding program activities including completion of grant reports. Position reports to AmeriCorps Project Director. Local travel is required. This is a part-time, twelve-month position, up to 28 hours per week and is contingent upon grant funding.


  1. Associate's degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  2. Experience in the areas of social services and education along with community service preferred.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access preferred.


$16.82 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
