Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC Educational Employee, grant funded, part-time position of ATS Dispatcher.


In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a part-time position funded by external funds. The work requires the use of judgment and discretion. Duties include scheduling the efficient utilization of vehicles and drivers that meet customer requirements; assisting drivers in reading and interpreting maps and driving directions; interfacing with staff to develop customer requirements; maintaining accurate records on customer trips, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage; and performing a variety of clerical functions that support the ATS program.


  1. A minimum of two (2) years of experience driving or dispatching in the transportation industry.
  2. High school diploma or GED required.
  3. Ability to meet and maintain the physical, drug and alcohol testing requirements per ATS and SWIC guidelines.


$12.29 per hour, up to 28 hours per week
