Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the SWIC Educational Employee part-time position of Web Production Developer.

Description

In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this is a highly technical position that involves development, implementation, and testing of Web based content. This position also involves information gathering and dissemination to support the College's Web presence. This position has district-wide responsibilities assisting Senior Systems Analyst/Programmer with faculty, staff, and multiple departments in Web-related functions.

Qualifications

  1. One (1) year experience or demonstrated ability in Web production/development.
  2. High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  3. Applicants in the final term of an Associate degree program will be considered if they can demonstrate proficiency in all of the required areas Experience with Windows 2000/2003, Microsoft IIS, JSP/Servlets, Java, Apache Tomcat, and Linux software preferred. Experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB, Microsoft IIS, SQL, Java Script, Java, and JSP software preferred.
  4. Must pass Web development skills test covering HTML and CSS.

Salary

$22.01 per hour, up to 30 hours per week
