Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for Oracle database administration faculty for the Spring 2014 semester. Class times and locations vary.


Earned Master's or higher degree in a field related to the teaching assignment with sufficient course work in computer information systems or earned Bachelor's degree in the field of the teaching assignment combined with additional course work, professional certification and a minimum of two years work experience in the field. Applicants should be proficient in Oracle 11g and able to teach Oracle 11g Database Administration.


Starting salaries will be determined by educational attainment level and number of credit hours assigned. For example, part-time instructors with a Master's degree and teaching less than 6 credit hours are paid $44.88 per instructional contact hour.

Belleville Campus, Red Bud Campus, and/or Sam Wolf Granite City Campus
