The Illinois Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference was held April 13-14, 2012, in Effingham, Illinois. Approximately 80 students competed in over 50 competitive events. Heather Borowiak and Cortney McGowan served as a State Ambassadors for 2011-2012.
Aaron Nickson served as state vice president for the 2011-2012 year.
Heather Borowiak was elected state president for the 2012-2013 year.
These students are now eligible to attend the PBL National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June.
