The HLC has adopted new AQIP categories as of July 22, 2008; SWIC is adapting to these changes with a complete re-editing of the Portfolio.

The Systems Appraisal of Southwestern Illinois College conducted by the Academic Quality Improvement Program of The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
