2006-2007 Annual Report
Celebrating our 60th Anniversary in 2006-07,we took time to reflect upon our evolution from Belleville Junior College - which opened to 183 students at a one-building site in 1946 - to what we are today: a vibrant and ever-expanding academic institution serving more than 26,000 students annually on three campuses and more than 20 Off-Campus Sites.
Truly, our 60th Anniversary was a cause for celebration.
But more importantly, 2006-07 also served as a springboard for future Discovery at Southwestern Illinois College, where "Think It. Be It." is more than a slogan ... it's our promise.
