High School Diploma Testing Information

Southwestern Illinois College administers two brands of High School Diploma exams. More information about each brand of exam can be found at the following links.

Exams are administered at the SWIC Belleville campus, as well as various locations throughout the state for Illinois residents.

An online registration and testing fee payment is required to take the test.  

In addition to achieving the minimum score in each of the subject areas, proof of passing the Illinois & U.S. Constitution will be required to obtain a State of Illinois High School Diploma.  Upon passing the GED or HiSET, this proof will have to be shown to the Regional Office of Education in the passer’s county of residence along with their $20 certificate and official transcript fee.
