Robert Pittman is Executive Director of the Strategic Growth Institute and the Community Development Institute at the University of Central Arkansas, where he also serves as Associate Professor in the College of Business. Prior to joining the faculty at UCA, Dr. Pittman served as Director of Business Location and Economic Development Consulting for Lockwood Greene, a world-wide engineering firm (acquired by CH2MHill in 2005). He has over 20 years experience in business location and economic development consulting for clients in the U.S. and abroad. A former Deputy Director of the International Development Research Council (now CoreNet), Dr. Pittman is a widely published author and frequent speaker in the field of business location and economic development.
