Southwestern Illinois Regional Leadership and Development Committee Scholarship Program
The Regional Leadership and Development Committee is pleased to announce a scholarship program for college students. This $500 scholarship will be awarded to a current high school senior attending a public or parochial high school or a college student who submits an essay on how he or she will use their education to enhance the quality of life in this region. The winner will be announced at the Regional Leaders' Breakfast in April, 2008 in Chester.
Requirements
- Applicant must live in the Chester, Trico, Red Bud, Sparta, Coulterville, Steeleville or Marissa School District.
- Applicant must be a current high school senior or be currently enrolled in an accredited Illinois college.
- Applicant must submit a 200-250 word essay explaining how they would use their education to better the quality of life for residents of this region.
- Applicant must submit the essay and attached application by 8 p.m. on Friday, March 28 to:
