Adults in Transition Workshop
Are you a returning adult student, facing family or job changes, or dealing with other life transitions? Participate in this 4-week support workshop to learn to cope effectively with your transitions.
Workshop Topics include:
- What is a transition and what are the stages of transition?
- The negative emotions (e.g. fear, anxiety, confusion) that are often associated with change and how to cope effectively with them.
- Evaluating and enhancing your self-esteem during difficult times.
- Learning assertiveness skills (asking for what you want and saying "No" to what you don't want).
Information and Registration:
Workshop Materials and Fee: $10.00 includes a resource workbook with 4 modules, 1 for each week's session.
To Register: Please prepay in advance at the Business Office and bring your receipt to the Counseling Center of your choice to register. The workshop may be cancelled for fewer than 5 participants.
