GED Classes

The Adult Education Department offers FREE GED® test preparation classes at its Belleville, Granite City and Red Bud campuses and at many extension sites. These classes prepare students for the high school equivalency examination, a test administered monthly by the Regional Superintendents of Schools offices.

Classes start monthly and usually last four or eight weeks. Day and evening classes are available. Registration is always at the first class meeting. At most locations, we recommend arriving 30 minutes before the first class starts because seating is limited.
