GED tests are given by the Regional Superintendent of Schools offices. Before taking the GED test, you must register to take the test and pay the testing fee. For more information about test registration, contact the office in the county in which you live.

Testing for Madison County is held at SIU-Edwardsville and is normally scheduled on the second Saturday of every month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

Monroe & Randolph Regional Office of Education

Testing for Monroe and Randolph counties is administered once a month. Testing is done at the Randolph County Courthouse, 1 Taylor St., Room 101, Chester, IL 62233. Call 618-939-5650 to arrange for testing.
