Adult Basic Education provides free classes preparing persons for the GED test. Instruction includes the five subject areas of the GED test: writing skills, social studies, science, reading and math. Classes are short in duration and focus on both the basic content of the test and test-taking skills.
Day and evening classes are offered each semester at the Belleville, Sam Wolf Granite City and Red Bud campuses and the East St. Louis Community College Center as well as many extension sites.
Don't lose the GED scores you've earned so far! In 2014, the new GED test will be longer, administered on a computer and cost substantially more—another good reason to finish now!
