Health/Physical Education
Careers in physical education, health and recreation have expanded into business and industry. Many positions are open with park and recreation districts as the nation becomes increasingly aware of the need for lifelong physical fitness as preventive of diseases that often accompany aging.
All Southwestern Illinois College students are encouraged to participate in physical education classes that include activities from weight training to swimming, from karate to tennis.
