Academic Universe
A product specifically tailored for colleges and universities, it offers broad coverage in the areas of news, business, legal, and medical information. Contents include nearly 5,000 fulltext newspapers, periodicals, wire services, and foreign language news sources; company, industry, and financial information; law reviews, case law, U.S. Code and state legal research; medical and health articles. News information is updated daily and wire services several times daily.
EbscoHost
Provides scholarly articles and images tailored to support most academic areas of study. Full text for nearly 1,560 journals, with many dating back to 1990, plus abstracts and indexing for nearly 2,750 scholarly journals, with many dating to 1984.
Contents include 1,500-plus titles covering social sciences, humanities, general science, multi-cultural studies, and education; 1,060 journals on business, management, economics, finance, banking, and accounting; 540 full-text sources focusing on medical disciplines; 159 regional U.S. and 18 international newspapers; and a patient-oriented drug information database.
The valuable peer-reviewed search feature limits results to articles from scholarly publications.

A comprehensive reference service providing access to 16 electronic databases including millions of online full text articles, Internet resources, and conference proceedings. Databases of particular usefulness include:

- HealthInfo for coverage of medical, drug, and health-related subjects
- NetFirst, which offers abstracts and access to authoritative web sites
- PerAbs offering 3million+ abstracts and some full text articles from 1,500 leading general and academic journals
- WilsonSelect containing Fulltext coverage of journals from the fields of business,
- science, education, the humanities, social sciences, and current issues
ProQuest
Indexes 423 periodicals in the area of vocational and technical education. Some of the topics included are: accounting, agriculture, aeronautics, automotive, building trades, computers and computer programming, electronics, fire management, food service, forestry, graphic arts, horticulture, hospitality, interior design, nursing, plumbing, real estate, security and veterinary science. Select articles published 1986-1996 are provided in the backfile database component.
