The Minority Transfer and Multicultural Student Services Center, MTMSSC, of Southwestern Illinois College provides transfer services and guidance to minority students via workshops and individual sessions on scholarships and the transfer process as well as scheduled tours to area four-year institutions. The MTMSSC sponsors a variety of student clubs and also coordinates and hosts multicultural observances throughout the school year. All events are open to students, faculty, staff and community members in an effort to sustain and support the college's mission to provide opportunities for individual growth through active partnerships with students and the community.

Black Leadership Conference on April 20, 2013 was a huge success!  Our Multicultural Student Services Center recently celebrated Cinco 'de Mayo and Asian American and Pacific Islander Month.  Look for future events!
