PSOP now has a pingpong table that can be used from 2-4 p.m. any day except Tuesday in the Activities Room on the lower level. Get your paddles from the Activities office.

Pronounced "we", this home video game is a fun way to get together with your friends and play baseball, golf, bowling, etc. by using a hand-held remote and television screen. You'll get a little stretching exercise and a lot of fun when playing. After a little practice, you'll even be able to impress your kids and grandkids with your knowledge when they talk about their Wii! St. Louis is bursting with new microbreweries and we are going to explore them! Betsy Murphy has arranged a visit to Anheuser-Busch Brewery for a look into the world's bestselling beers. The next stop is Square One Brewery and Distillery for a brief tour and lunch. We finish our day at Four Hands Brewery, which prides itself for being the most unique brewery in the St. Louis area for the craft beer enthusiast. Cost is $77 per person. Edith unknowingly invites a mafia family into her home and Archie realizes he must do a "job" for the godfather or he may be sleeping with the fish! After the show, our step-on-guide gives us a two-hour tour of the major historical sites of Alton and Godfrey. Today is a rare treat! Our destination is 18th century St. Genevieve, Mo., with Betsy Murphy as we tour the 1792 Balduc House and enjoy a lunch of pork cutlets at the new Audubon's restaurant. Next get up-close and personal on a tour of the only tiger sanctuary in the Midwest followed by a tasting at Crown Valley Winery. Cost is $99 per person. We are making some changes to provide everyone with a fair opportunity to sign up for trips, avoid empty seats and keep trips affordable.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2014 - To make a reservation for a day trip, dial the extension listed with the trip description. The recording will ask you to give your name and phone number, the date and name of the trip, and the names of people you are making reservations for. You will then be given seven working days to complete the registration form in the PSOP newsletter and mail it or bring it to the Activities & Travel office along with your payment. Any payment not received within seven days will result in your reservation being cancelled.
If a cancellation is received seven days or more before the trip, then a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is received seven days or less to the start of the trip, and a replacement is found, then a full refund less a $5 processing fee will be given. If no replacement is found, no refund will be given. Special cancellation policies may apply if the trip involves the purchase of non-refundable tickets.
