Pronounced "we", this home video game is a fun way to get together with your friends and play baseball, golf, bowling, etc. by using a hand-held remote and television screen. You'll get a little stretching exercise and a lot of fun when playing. After a little practice, you'll even be able to impress your kids and grandkids with your knowledge when they talk about their Wii! Have you seen the line dancers out on the dance floor and wished you could join them but didn't know how? Here is your chance to learn the basic steps and have a great time doing it. We might not turn you into Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, but we might make you feel like it! Come try some new and old partner dances. If you have been dancing together for years, come get reacquainted with the basic skills to get you moving with confidence. The cost is $36 per couple for a six-week session. Class begins Monday, Sept. 14 and runs through Oct. 19. When we are all finished we could be "Dancing with the Stars!" Pike County is our destination to tour four magnificent lodges decorated for the holidays. Heartland Lodge is a six-star corporate retreat and hunting lodge and the only Orvis-endorsed lodge in Illinois. Hadley Creek is a 6,000-square-foot B&B and active hunting lodge. Kinderhook Lodge is a B&B hunting lodge with 15 bedrooms and is on the Pikes Peak Ocean Notion Trail. The final stop is the 8,800-square-foot Illinois Xtreme Lodge on over 8,000 acres. Cost is $105 per person and includes brunch, lunch, wine tasting, dessert, appetizers, live music and floral designs. Deadline is Nov. 23. We are making some changes to provide everyone with a fair opportunity to sign up for trips, avoid empty seats and keep trips affordable.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2014 - To make a reservation for a day trip, dial the extension listed with the trip description. The recording will ask you to give your name and phone number, the date and name of the trip, and the names of people you are making reservations for. You will then be given seven working days to complete the registration form in the PSOP newsletter and mail it or bring it to the Activities & Travel office along with your payment. Any payment not received within seven days will result in your reservation being cancelled.

If a cancellation is received seven days or more before the trip, then a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is received seven days or less to the start of the trip, and a replacement is found, then a full refund less a $5 processing fee will be given. If no replacement is found, no refund will be given. Special cancellation policies may apply if the trip involves the purchase of non-refundable tickets.
