Mondays, 2 - 4 p.m.

Pronounced "we," this home video game is a fun way to get together with your friends and play baseball, golf, bowling, etc. by using a hand-held remote and television screen. You'll get a little stretching exercise and a lot of fun when playing. After a little practice, you'll even be able to impress your kids and grandkids with your knowledge when they talk about their Wii! The game and flat-screen television are located in the Activity Room, lower level, at PSOP. For more information, call 618-234-4410, ext. 7016.

Enjoy the fall colors as we make stops along Route 66! Eat award-winning BBQ at Missouri Hicks Barbecue, enjoy a tour and wine tasting at St. James Winery, get “sucked in” at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum and end the trip with a visit to the fudge factory and general store in Uranus, Mo. In an effort to keep her out of trouble, the nuns assign Deloris to the convent's choir, an ensemble that she soon turns into a vibrant and soulful act that gains widespread attention. Spend the afternoon at Stages St. Louis for a great musical after lunch at Café Telegraph. Back by popular demand! Visit two of the four buildings at Harpole’s Heartland Lodge, a six-star facility and the only Orvis-endorsed lodge in Illinois. Hadley Creek Lodge, a 6,000-square-foot B&B, is home to the largest elk herd in Illinois. Kinderhook Lodge has 12,500 square feet and 15 bedrooms and is located on the Pikes Peak Ocean Notion Trail. Illinois Extreme Lodge has 12 bedrooms and more than 8,800 square feet. Breakfast, lunch, snack and appetizers will be served. Cost is $107 per person. Deadline is Nov. 14. Back to Top Travel & Activities Reservation/Cancellation Policy Changes

We are making some changes to provide everyone with a fair opportunity to sign up for trips, avoid empty seats and keep trips affordable.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2014 - To make a reservation for a day trip, dial the extension listed with the trip description. The recording will ask you to give your name and phone number, the date and name of the trip, and the names of people you are making reservations for. You will then be given seven working days to complete the registration form in the PSOP newsletter and mail it or bring it to the Activities & Travel office along with your payment. Any payment not received within seven days will result in your reservation being cancelled.

If a cancellation is received seven days or more before the trip, then a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is received seven days or less to the start of the trip, and a replacement is found, then a full refund less a $5 processing fee will be given. If no replacement is found, no refund will be given. Special cancellation policies may apply if the trip involves the purchase of non-refundable tickets.
