PSOP now has a pingpong table that can be used from 2-4 p.m. any day except Tuesday in the Activities Room on the lower level. Get your paddles from the Activities office.

Pronounced "we", this home video game is a fun way to get together with your friends and play baseball, golf, bowling, etc. by using a hand-held remote and television screen. You'll get a little stretching exercise and a lot of fun when playing. After a little practice, you'll even be able to impress your kids and grandkids with your knowledge when they talk about their Wii! We will leave from Schnucks on North Belt West at 9:30 a.m. and stop in at Gringo Jones and The Donut Stop. Then you choose your favorite Italian restaurant for lunch. Maybe Amighetti's, Rigazzi's or Zia's? Visit the little Italian Shops afterward for Italian cheese or the Missouri Bakery for cookies and pastries. The cost of the trip is $25 (lunch is on your own). This trip fills up fast; make your reservations early!

Linda Koenig takes us to the most important Army base in the U.S. - Fort Leonard Wood. Our base guide will join us on a bus tour of the engineering and HAZMAT training sites, the museum of engineering, military police, chemical warfare and much more. Lunch will be with the troops in the mess hall. A supper stop (on your own) at Super Smokers will be made. You MUST have a driver's license or passport with you to get onto the base. Cost is $78 per person. Pickup point is the Schnucks on North Belt West at 7:20 a.m. Return will be at about 8:20 p.m. If you are a veteran, please state your branch and MOS on the reservation form.
These three trips all include a delicious buffet luncheon at the Fox, great seats to the matinee show and transportation via charter bus. Pick-up is 11 a.m. at Schnucks on North Belt West in Belleville.

We are making some changes to provide everyone with a fair opportunity to sign up for trips, avoid empty seats and keep trips affordable.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2014 - To make a reservation for a day trip, dial the extension listed with the trip description. The recording will ask you to give your name and phone number, the date and name of the trip, and the names of people you are making reservations for. You will then be given seven working days to complete the registration form in the PSOP newsletter and mail it or bring it to the Activities & Travel office along with your payment. Any payment not received within seven days will result in your reservation being cancelled.
If a cancellation is received seven days or more before the trip, then a full refund will be given. If a cancellation is received seven days or less to the start of the trip, and a replacement is found, then a full refund less a $5 processing fee will be given. If no replacement is found, no refund will be given. Special cancellation policies may apply if the trip involves the purchase of non-refundable tickets.
