Linda Koenig takes us to Augusta, Mo. to tour the beautiful home built by Daniel and Nathan Boone and to tour the surrounding Boonesfield Village. (This includes the Peace Chapel and the oldest one-room schoolhouse in Missouri!) After lunch at Ashley's Rose, we visit Balducci Winery and Sugar Creek Winery, as well as a stop at historic Centennial Farms to purchase apple butter and other harvest favorites. Cost is $87 per person and includes step-on guide and lunch. Deadline for reservations is April 25. Pick-up points are the Holiday Inn in Alton about 7:15 a.m. and the Caseyville Township Center in Fairview Heights about 8 a.m. Return will be 5:15 p.m.

Betsy Murphy takes us on a journey to visit the Shrine of St. Joseph and learn about the documented miracle of St. Peter Claver, to St. Frances Xavier College Church where the Library Historian will discuss the most famous exorcism in the country, followed by a tour of St. John the Apostle & Evangelic Church with its fresco, reminiscent of the Raphael’s one in the Vatican, which wraps upward to the ceiling. Cost is $74 per person and includes step-on guide and lunch. Deadline for reservations is May 27. Enjoy our most popular annual event! Enjoy a Prime Rib dinner as we sail the Mississippi River. After we dock we have the best seats in the house for the St. Louis Fireworks. Cost is $90 per adult ($69 per child 13 and younger). Pick-up points are PSOP, the Caseyville Township Center, Collinsville, and Alton. If you prefer a vegetarian entrée, you must write it on your registration form. The Children’s Meal is chicken strips. If you are traveling with friends, you should put their names on the registration form. No refunds will be given after May 15 unless a replacement can be found. Departure times to be announced. Ladies get out your shopping list and let’s go hunting for bargains and get a jump on Christmas! This weekend trip begins by checking-in at the Tan-Tar-A Resort followed by a prime rib buffet and a wonderful evening live show featuring music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. After a good night sleep (you will need it!) get on your walking shoes to shop the Osage Outlet Mall, the largest in the Midwest with over 100 stores. Cost is $260 per person/double and $310 for a single. A $75 per person deposit is due by June 10 and balance due on/before August 22.
