The Schmidt Art Center is a wonderful destination for guests to peruse quality artwork on exhibition in our four galleries. The main galleries may be rented for a private, after-hours event, while the Erlinger Conference Room may be used during gallery hours. Either rented space is open to use by individuals, organizations and businesses.
The four 2,415-square feet galleries include the Billie Jean and John H. Marsh Gallery, Sharon and DeWayne Cox Gallery, John and Peg Schmidt Gallery, and R. Gordon and Betty Reiners Gallery. To view the current exhibitions, visit here.
The galleries can accommodate a maximum of 150 individuals for a stand-up reception or 100 individuals seated.*
The rental includes:
- Use of (5) 5'
round tables, (8) 6' round tables, (10) 6' rectangular tables, and 100 chairs
- WiFi access,
state-of-the-art projector system, and 7'h x 12'w drop-down movie screen
- Access to
kitchen and four gallery spaces
- A list of
- An optional list
of preferred linen rental companies and florists
- An art center
facility attendant to be on staff during the event and who will coordinate
table, chair, and AV set up prior to the event
- After-hours use
- $500 rental fee
*The actual number of guests may be adjusted due to gallery exhibitions.
The 300-square foot conference room with 16’ table will accommodate
a maximum of 14 individuals.
For conference room events, the space includes:
- A list of approved caterers
- WiFi access, telephone conferencing
capabilities, and laptop ports
- Projector capabilities for presentations
- Access to (2) 6’ rectangular tables for lunches
and/or information area
- An art center facility attendant to be on staff
during the event and who will coordinate table, chair, and AV set up prior to
- Day use only
- $250 rental fee
