Nicole and Jessica

Nicole Dutton
Curator, Facility Coordinator

Nicole Dutton received her Master of Fine Arts with a specialty in painting from Fontbonne University in 2007. After graduation, she began a career in arts administration, working first as a director of education and outreach then as associate director for a local arts organization. Nicole took her post as the curator and facility coordinator for the Schmidt Art Center in 2012. She continues to engage the regional audience in arts and cultural experiences.


Jessica Mannisi
Curatorial Assistant

Jessica Mannisi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History in 2004, and a post-baccalaureate degree in museum studies in 2009, both from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Her previous experience includes art conservation and restoration, arts education, and collections cataloging. Jessica started as an intern at the Schmidt Art Center in the summer of 2009 and became the curatorial assistant in the fall of that year.




Albert Kuo
Arts Education Instructor

Albert Kuo is the Schmidt's arts education instructor and coordinates our arts education programs.

Albert is a professional exhibiting artist in the St. Louis area and graduated with his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Fontbonne University. Furthermore, he has several years of experience leading arts education programming and teaching college-level studio courses.


Daniel Stumeier
Arts Education Instructor

Daniel graduated with his MFA at the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Art and his BFA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. His work has been exhibited at Granite City Art and Design District, fort gondo compound for the arts, and the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, among other venues. He has experience teaching college-level studio and lecture courses, and contributes exhibition reviews for Daily Serving and St. Louis Magazine.
