Military personnel and civilians are able to take classes at Scott Air Force Base. In addition to classes, students can register, drop/add courses, use the state-of-the-art computer lab, submit veterans assistance paperwork and submit military tuition assistance. We make it that easy!

Assessment and Counseling
SWIC offers the English and math placement exam (COMPASS) and academic advising appointments on base for your convenience. An appointment is required. View the assessment and counseling schedule.
Book Rentals
Low-cost book rentals are available on base for some classes.
Online Courses
Staff can register you for SWIC online courses. In an online course, you can complete your coursework and communicate with instructors from the comfort of your home or anyplace you have Internet access.

The Scott Air Force Base main gate and Visitor Control Center are located on Seibert Road, off Air Mobility Drive/Route 158. Once on base, the SWIC office can be reached by turning off Scott Drive onto West Martin Street. For driving directions from a specific location, use
