Back to Top William Lyke


Bill Lyke uses his vast management and human resources experience in his role as a management and supervisory trainer for Selsius™ Corporate & Career Training.

Lyke brings more than 30 years' work experience to the Selsius™ training room. He served as assistant director of personnel for Southwestern Illinois College for 10 years, worked for Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville as both an assistant director of physical plant and a personnel officer. He served as both a corporate personnel administrator and business manager at Ralston Purina. Lyke also served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of first lieutenant; he later served as the assistant operations officer for the Illinois Army National Guard in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Lyke has been the president/owner of BMB Maintenance Supplies, Inc. from 1984 to present. He ran BMB Maintenance Supplies, Inc. while working full-time, until 2002 when he retired and focused his energies solely on his business and his training/teaching endeavors.

Lyke's training experience includes serving as a trainer/facilitator in management/supervisory courses for Selsius™ since 1992, ten years as an adjunct instructor in human resource management at SWIC, and 17 years as an adjunct instructor for Webster University in their management & leadership graduate program.

Lyke holds a Bachelor of Arts in government from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale and a Master's in public administration from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. He is certified to train both DDI and AchieveGlobal courses for Selsius™.

Back to Top Barbara Crockett

Barb Crockett brings more than 25 years of progressive training and development success as a contract trainer and in retail banking operations. Barb joined Selsius™ in 2007 to provide professional development and leadership training. As a training facilitator, she focuses on experiential learning and ensures participants make the connection between program content and application to the workplace.

After more than 17 years in banking with Centerre Bank, Boatmen's National Bank, Bank of America and FortuneBank, Crockett moved to work as a contract trainer. While in the banking industry, she held various positions: sales manager, regional marketing officer, HR vice president, learning manager, and senior vice president - retail operations. In the majority of her banking positions, training was a core responsibility.

Today, Crockett trains for the Center for Financial Training in St. Louis and Lewis & Clark Community College in addition to Selsius™. Additionally, she is an adjunct faculty member at Maryville University, facilitating management and human resources classes.

Crockett received a Bachelor of Arts in education from Notre Dame College and a Master of Science in management/marketing from Maryville University. She received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2010 and is DDI and AchieveGlobal certified.

Ron Noll is a professional trainer/facilitator with more than 35 years' experience helping individuals and organizations become more effective and competitive. His core training expertise lies in management development, leadership, communication skills, team-building and customer service. 

Noll joined Selsius™ in 2006 bringing his real-life experiences and strong facilitation skills to create a positive learning environment for our trainees. He previously worked as an educator in the Mehlville School District, manager at Carondelet and Community Federal Savings, training director for Community Federal Savings and Loan, and spent 13 years at Maritz, Inc. in training and quality improvement. He founded his own business in 2002 which he continues to manage.

After serving in the U.S. Marines Corps, Noll attended Southeast Missouri State University, attaining a Bachelor of Science in education. He later received his Master of Arts in management from Webster University. He is affiliated with Toastmasters, the American Society of Training & Development (ASTD), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM ), and is a certified facilitator for DDI and AchieveGlobal.

Andy McKellar is a key member of the Selsius™ training team, specializing in management and leadership development, OSHA general industry, and industrial safety training. His goals are to improve employees' performance, increase employee safety and contribute to your company's success.

McKellar joined Selsius™ in 2009 after more than 16 years of training in industry. He managed training programs, conducted adult training in many subject areas, led others in constantly changing environments and delivered exceptional results while meeting deadlines. His resume includes high-profile employers such as Ameren and Continental Airlines. In addition to his corporate training work, McKellar's training experience in the classroom is extensive. For more than a decade, he taught industrial arts classes and aviation maintenance courses at Purdue University, Houston Community College and in the Houston public school system.

McKellar is certified by DDI as a management and supervisory/leadership training facilitator. He is also an authorized OSHA outreach trainer in both 10 and 30 hour courses and is certified as an instructor for Scaffold Competent Persons. McKellar holds an Associate of Applied Science in aviation maintenance from Purdue University, a Bachelor of Science in industrial education from Purdue University and a Master of Arts in education from the University of California in Los Angeles.

Steve Welland brings nearly 20 years of training and consulting experience to the Selsius™ team. He focuses on the customization and delivery of training, skills/training assessments and workforce development. His training specialties are leadership, customer service, sales, quality and team development.

Welland joined the Selsius™ business skills training team in July, 2012. He is a successful business owner and a corporate trainer for other organizations and community colleges. Welland was previously a military officer, having served 16 years in the U.S. Army. His unique training experiences provide a strong resource for companies, government agencies, associations and educational institutions. 

Welland holds an associate degree in business administration from Parkland College, Champaign, Ill. He is a trainer select for VisionPoint, a master trainer for AchieveGlobal and is a DDI certified professional development training facilitator.

Back to Top J.D. Frailey

J.D. Frailey is a recent addition to the Selsius™ business skills and management training programs. He brings significant training and business experience to our clients.

Frailey has significant experience as a keynote speaker and workshop facilitator through his partnership with FranklinCovey. He has partnered with FranklinCovey since 1995, where he currently serves as a senior consultant. He works with clients in the manufacturing, education, retail, sales and marketing, transportation, technology, legal, and energy industries. He has also successfully worked with government at the federal, state and local levels as well as branches of military.

Besides his work with FranklinCovey, Frailey spent nearly 20 years as a sales and marketing innovator for Southwestern Bell Corporation. He served as the director of their Accelerated Leadership Development Program while at Bell. 

Frailey received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Oklahoma State University and has completed graduate work in both organizational development and creative writing. He is a DDI certified professional development training facilitator.

Debra Lassman brings more than 20 years training experience to the Selsius™ team. In addition to being a skilled instructor and facilitator, Lassman is the Selsius™ lead technology curriculum developer, provides assistance on all things technical to the Selsius™ team and chairs the department's Trainer Development Committee. She is also an adjunct faculty member for the SWIC Business Division and Adult Basic Education department.

Lassman's training expertise is in Microsoft Office, Windows, Adobe Acrobat Pro and professional development, such as leadership and team building. She has worked as an instructor in both large and small organizations. Prior to joining Selsius™ in 1994, she worked as an independent training contractor for several law firms and banks, gaining valuable real world experience, which she brings to her classroom.

Lassman is a Microsoft Certified application specialist and a DDI certified professional development training facilitator. She recently received training in Office 2013 and Windows 8 as preparation for bringing those new applications to our clients. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Rockhurst University in Kansas City.

Back to Top Gina Niebrugge

Gina Niebrugge brings more than 20 years of training and industry experience to the Selsius™ training program. She is a talented computer software trainer with extensive experience in instructional design, technical writing and training coordination.

Niebrugge joined Selsius™ in 2004 as a contract trainer. In 2006, she joined the Selsius™ department staff while continuing her trainer role. Her department duties include development and maintenance of content on the Selsius™ website and support for marketing efforts including email marketing, direct mail and social media. She is also involved in instructional design for customized client programs, including custom training video development. Her computer training specialties are the Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio, Project, and InfoPath; Adobe Acrobat Professional, and web development software including WordPress, Microsoft Expression Web and Adobe's Dreamweaver.

Prior to joining Selsius™, Niebrugge held a similar position for more than four years at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill. Previously, she worked as an onsite trainer and PC training administrator for Caterpillar for ValCom Computer Learning Center in Decatur, Ill., a technical writer, and educator and systems advisor for Professionals' Software Inc. in Effingham, Ill..

Niebrugge earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication from Eastern Illinois University and has completed graduate work in workforce development. She is a Microsoft Certified application specialist. She recently received training in Office 2013 and Windows 8 in preparation for the release of those training programs at Selsius™.

Marj Weir has provided advanced technology training, curriculum development and consulting services to Selsius™ clients since 2004. Previously, Weir worked as an information management professional providing systems analysis, design and implementation work for over 20 years.

Weir spent 12 years with Bank of America/NationsBank/Boatmen's Bancshares, Inc. in various IT positions. She served as a programmer/analyst, a loan center support specialist, project coordinator for cross-state loan documentation, supervisor of a loan documentation development group and programmer for special PC based projects. These experiences required her to learn the most advanced features and functionality of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Access. She held various other programming positions prior to her banking experience. In addition to her IT experience, Weir taught English in the University City school system for six years.

Weir became involved in information technology through her various community service endeavors. She has previously served on the boards of directors for the St. Louis Public Library, the Missouri Botanical Gardens, Leadership St. Louis, St. Louis Public School Building Corporation and the St. Louis Board of Education. 

Weir holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from Washington University, St. Louis, Mo.

Casey Seipp is a key member of the Selsius™ technology training team with experience training on the job and in formal instructional settings. Her specialty is the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Publisher.  

Seipp began her professional career as a financial market specialist and problem analyst at Reuters America, LLC. After several years in finance, she moved to education and training. Her training and education experience includes a year as a client training specialist at Reuters and three years as a substitute business instructor for the Edwardsville and O'Fallon Township high schools.

She joined Selsius™ as an MS Office trainer in 2010. Her popularity with clients resulted in her recruitment as an adjunct instructor delivering Office and technology courses for Southwestern Illinois College Division of Business. 

Seipp holds a Bachelor of Science in business economics and finance from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville. She received her master's degree in business education from McKendree University in 2009.

Bill Jackson is a local expert in the field of social media. We are fortunate to be able to bring his real world experience in the evolving field of social media to our clients.  

Jackson is the digital marketing manager for Auffenberg Dealer Group, a multi-manufacturer automotive dealership with 13 locations - the largest auto group in the Metro East. In his position, Jackson is responsible for increasing website traffic, using data mining to create highly targeted campaigns, using social media marketing and advertising for brand awareness and fan conversion, and management of dozens of social media platforms.

Jackson has developed curriculum and delivered training to Selsius™ clients in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogs and YouTube. He has also provided social media exposure training and support to our training staff. Jackson serves as an adjunct instructor for Southwestern Illinois College Business Division teaching marketing courses on social media tools. He also worked as a sports marketing intern for the Murray State Athletic Department while in college.

Jackson is a member of Business Networking International and the education coordinator for the St. Clair County chapter. He is also a member of the chambers of commerce in O'Fallon, Belleville and Fairview Heights. He holds a bachelor's degree in public relations with a minor in marketing from Murray State University.

Gerry Bach is the ™ Adobe Creative Suite "go to" person at Selsius™. His real-world experience in printing, graphic design and publishing, combined with his strong background as an educator, make him an expert for our clients interested in PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator or Acrobat Professional. He can provide training on multiple versions of these products, which makes him an invaluable resource for clients.

Bach spent years in the printing/publishing business working for Record Printing Company as prepress production manager, the Belleville New Democrat and 11 years with his own company Bach Associates Design Print. 

He was an adjunct instructor for more than 15 years with Southwestern Illinois College Business Division. He taught electronic publishing, PhotoShop, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, PageMaker, InDesign and advanced desktop publishing. He also chaired the college's Electronic Publishing/Webmaster Advisory Group for several years.

Bach joined the Selsius™ team in 2005 and has provided outstanding Adobe training to our clients since then. He never fails to impress trainees with his knowledge of the Adobe applications and is a favorite with clients needing this training.

Jessie Maske is the Selsius™ SharePoint resource. Maske has extensive experience in developing SharePoint applications and training both SharePoint developers and end users. 

Maske has provided training in computer applications and operating systems since 1989. She has developed and trained in SharePoint for over a decade. Her experience with multiple releases and versions of SharePoint, and their differences, is invaluable to clients. Some of her past clients include the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, and Working Connections. Maske has provided training for Lincolnland Community College since 1999. She has been the point person for SharePoint consulting, advising and training for Selsius™ clients since 2011.

Sheryl Vogt brings over 17 years of Black Belt Lean Six Sigma experience, to the Selsius™ continuous improvement training programs. Vogt has worked with Selsius™ clients since 2009.

Vogt began her career in engineering in 1989. She worked primarily for General Electric Company, but also worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Parker Hannifin Corporation and Allied Signal Aerospace Company. She has worked in various engineering disciplines as a manufacturing engineer, project engineer and product engineer. In 1996, she was trained as one of the first Black Belts at the General Electric Company. She has been doing continuous improvement work since that time. 

In 2000, Vogt began working as an independent consultant/trainer for Lean Six Sigma services. She assists companies with Six Sigma and Lean deployments, guides champions and sponsors in Six Sigma programs, trains/mentors Black Belts and Green Belts, and facilitates improvement teams.  She has developed and delivered Lean Six Sigma programs and training for manufacturing, service, healthcare and government organizations and mentored hundreds of Black Belts and Green Belts.

Vogt holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Science in industrial engineering from Purdue University. She received her Master Black Belt training via Six Sigma Academy in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Ozzie Lomax is the Selsius™ project management expert. Lomax has more than 32 years of project and portfolio leadership experience. His project success rate exceeds 91 percent with engineering, IT, construction and various other project disciplines. 

The majority of Lomax's work experience is with the energy industry. He spent 22 years at Kansas City Power & Light Company in various engineering and leadership positions. He spent the last 11 years with Ameren Missouri. His positions there included manager of strategic projects and plant manager of the Meramec Energy Center. He coordinates development of Ameren Missouri's five-year strategic planning and operation & maintenance budgeting for the Power Operations Division.

He taught project management best practices for more than 15 years at the corporate and university level. In 2011, Lomax began assisting Selsius™ with project management training programs, delivering training on various project management topics. He is also an adjunct professor at the Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville School of Business.

Lomax is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 1995. He is a member of the Southern Illinois University - Carbondale School of Engineering Advisory Board and the SIUE School of Business Project Management Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering technology and a Master of Business Administration with a project management concentration from SIUE.
