Resource Lab Access Equipment And Instruction

 

The Special Services Center Resource Lab houses a variety of high-tech access equipment for students with disabilities. Reading machines, large-print software, speech software, braillers, magnification systems, voice activated software, talking calculators and personal hearing devices are some of the technology resources available to meet individual special needs. Accommodation Specialists are available to provide individual and group instruction and support with the use of all equipment. The Specialists also assist students with study strategies and techniques to help them overcome barriers related to special needs. The Resource Lab provides an environment of peer support as well as academic and access assistance.
