Mike Juenger begins his 15th season as head coach of the SWIC Blue Storm Women's Basketball team.  During his tenure at the college, the team has compiled a record of 284-168, made two NJCAA Tournament appearances, and won three conference championships.

Coach Juenger is a graduate of Belleville West High School and McKendree University.  Juenger was a member of then Belleville Area College's 1987-88 men's basketball team that finished fourth in the nation. He later transferred to McKendree on a baseball scholarship.

Prior to taking the women's head coaching position, he served as assistant men's basketball coach for six seasons.

Under Juenger's direction, the Blue Storm has produced numerous All-Conference and All-Region 24 selections. He has secured scholarships at four-year schools for 33 former players, and five of his former players now coach at the high school and collegiate levels.
