Two men's basketball players named All-Americans

For the third time since 2006, Southwestern Illinois College has two All-Americans in the same year.

Sophomore center Keanau Post has been named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division I Second Team All-American for the 2012-13 season. Sophomore guard Tony Bradley received honorable mention.

The 6-foot-11 Post averaged 12 points and 9 rebounds per game and was chosen as the All-Region 24 player of the year. He has signed to play at the University of Missouri next season.

Bradley averaged 11 points and 6 rebounds per game. The 6-foot-4 Alton native was named to the all-region first team.

“To have two players chosen as All-Americans says a lot about our program and this school,” said SWIC Men’s Head Basketball Coach Jay Harrington. “There are only three other schools in the country who had two players selected.”

SWIC has had 13 All-Americans in 13 seasons and five regional MVPs in 10 seasons.
