Women's Soccer Coaches

Head Coach Juergen Huettner

Juergen Huettner is entering his second season as women's head soccer coach, taking the 2014 squad to the Region XXIV Championship and an overall record of (16-1-3) 16 wins, 1 loss and 3 ties.

Prior to Huettner's arrival at Southwestern Illinois College, he was the women's soccer coach at St. Louis Community College (2009-2013). In five seasons with STLCC, Huettner had compiled a record of 62-44-5, including three winning seasons in 2011, 2012 and 2013. 

He led the STLCC Women's Soccer Team to three Regional Championships (2009,2012,2013), two District Championships (2012,2013) and two appearances in the NJCAA National Tournament.

Huettner was also named Region XVI Coach of the Year in 2009,2012 and 2013 and Region XXIV Coach of the Year in 2014.

Assistant Coach Jessica Bayne

Jessica Bayne has been involved with soccer for 26 years, coaching the past 11 years. Bayne has coached at several levels including high school and club. In addition, she has also coached in the ODP program. She is a former graduate of Triad High School where she led the Knights to 3 Illinois state appearances and a 2nd place finish. Bayne was named the McDonalds All-American MVP her senior year. After high school, she went on to play at the University of Illinois for 4 years helping her team reach two Sweet 16 appearances, and Elite 8 appearance, and a Big Ten Tournament Champioship her freshman year. After college, she was able to travel to several states and countries with the Regional and National teams, gaining knowledge and experience in the game of soccer from around the world. Jessica is looking forward to coaching at the college level.
