Accommodating Student Veterans

Welcome veterans! First, thank you for your service to our country! Second, the Disability & Access Center (DAC) would like to make your transition or return to Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC) as smooth as possible. Our office provides individualized accommodations and support services for student veterans with disabilities.

How to Receive Disability & Access Center Services

Schedule an individual intake appointment with our office at any of the campuses and East St. Louis Community College Center by calling 618-235-2700, ext. 5368, TDD 618-234-3347 or emailing DisabilityandAccessCenter@swic.edu.

Provide relevant documentation information. If needed, we can assist you in the process of obtaining disability-related paperwork.
