In the Success Center, students receive free tutoring in their coursework; a place to study; and use of the Internet for school-related work, such as Blackboard, MathXL, academic research and typing papers. We also assist with eSTORM, creating email accounts and class registration. We offer software programs, math CDs/DVDs and biology models. If you need help in any subject, our specialists, peer tutors and LACE tutors will be more than happy to assist you. All of our services are free.
The Success Center

Tutoring
- Specialists - Success Center staff tutor students one on one. Schedules are in the Success Center.
- Learning Assistance Centers for Excellence (LACE) assistants - Adjunct faculty members assist students a few hours each week.
- Peer Tutors - Students recommended by instructors.
Workshops
- Free workshops are offered each semester on general and specific academic skills, study skills and career exploration.
- The Success Center staff, as well as faculty and staff from throughout the college, facilitate the workshops.
