Public Safety Hours

Southwestern campuses are open during all normal operating hours and for scheduled events that take place outside of the normal operating hours. Students are permitted on campus after hours only when supervised by a Southwestern staff or faculty member, or with the permission of the department head, provost or evening supervisor. The DPS must be informed when students or college employees are to be on campus after hours. The buildings on the Belleville, SamWolf Granite City and Red Bud campuses, PSOP Branch Office and Fire Science Center are normally open between the following hours:

    Mon. - Fri., 6:30 a.m.- 10:30 p.m.
    Sat., 6:30 a.m.- 6 p.m.
    Sun. & Holidays Closed

  • Sam Wolf Granite City Campus
    Mon. - Thur., 6 a.m.- 10 p.m.
    Frid, 6 a.m.- 4 p.m.
    Sat., 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
    Sun. & Holidays Closed

  • Red Bud Campus
    Mon. - Thur., 7:30 a.m.- 10 p.m.
    Closing time Mon. - Thur. when classes are not in session: 8:30 p.m.
    Frid., 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
    Sat., Sun. & Holiday Closed
  • Fire Science Center
    Mon.-Fri., 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. unless classes are scheduled
    Sat., Sun. & Holidays, Closed unless classes are scheduled

  • PSOP Branch Office
    Mon. - Frid., 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
    Sat., Sun. & Holidays, Closed
