Craftsmen Industries custom manufactures unique specialty trailers and vehicles and large format printed elements for experiential marketing and industrial solutions for brands across the industry spectrum including Boeing, PepsiCo, and Anheuser-Busch. We pride ourselves on creating our products fully in-house from initial design and engineering to fabrication and the finishing touches of graphics and paint.
Our Craftsmen team includes one subsidiary, Schantz Manufacturing. Schantz focuses on custom manufacturing of concession trailers for the fair and festival industry.

Position Title: Brake Press Operator — $22 – $26/hour
1st Shift 7am – 3:30pm
A Brake Press/Laser Operator will utilize mechanical skills to assist in the manufacture and build of a variety of unique products such as custom designed displays, trailers, and vehicles to meet project specifications and established timelines. Strong focus on workplace safety and product quality is essential to be successful in this role.

The Brake Press/Laser Operator position is responsible for the daily set-up and operation of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) press brake in a just-in-time fabrication shop. Producing stainless steel, aluminum or steel parts to specifications of shop drawings. This position assists in training others as well as individually sets up and operates the brake press to bend metal plates and/or sheet metal to blueprint or sketch specifications. This position also trains others as well as operates the laser to cut parts for fabrication.

Position Title: Carpenter/Finisher — $18 – $24/hour
1st Shift (Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm)
2nd Shift 1pm – 11:30pm (4-Days/10-Hour Shift)

A Carpenter/Finisher is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and assembly of custom trailers, displays, and vehicles. At a minimum, this position requires basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures as well as a baseline level of knowledge in a skilled trade. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow instructions to ensure high-quality workmanship in all tasks.

This work environment is dynamic and versatile in nature, where employees are expected to wear multiple hats and handle a variety tasks. This role requires a high level of adaptability, as daily tasks and priorities may shift based on the evolving needs of the day. The ability to pivot and manage changing responsibilities is essential to success in this position. Employees continuously learn and gain hands-on experience in various areas, allowing them to develop a broad skill set.

Position Title: Welders/Fabricators
1st Shift (Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm)
