The Southwestern Illinois College Chamber Singers is a select ensemble that performs the finest a cappella choral literature. Although the majority are music majors, membership is open to all students at SWIC.

Chamber Singers meets MWF 1:00pm – 1:50pm. Admission to the ensemble is by formal audition, in which the student must demonstrate exceptional musicianship in addition to tone, timbre and blend. Membership for the entire academic year is expected.

This ensemble maintains a demanding performance schedule including concerts on and off campus, high school tours, invited appearances at conventions and the Illinois ACDA Collegiate Choral Festival.
