If special circumstances have affected your eligibility for financial aid, contact the financial aid office for assistance. Unusual circumstances include medical or dental expenses in excess of insurance payments. They could also include a family member who recently became unemployed. Changes in income or assets can also be unusual circumstances.

Note: Any funds already posted to a student’s account will be canceled when a student submits a request for special circumstances review. Financial aid funds will not be disbursed until the special circumstances request has been processed completely.
