Schmidt Art Center Class Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Class Funds are used for K-12th grade class supply costs and additional equipment needed to enhance the arts education programming.
Schmidt Art Center Friends Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Friends Fund is used as matching funds for the purchase of artwork for the College and Foundation permanent collection or to assist in the rental of traveling exhibitions.
Schmidt Art Center Programming Fund
The purpose of the Schmidt Art Center Programming Fund is to present programs that expand visitors’ enjoyment and understanding of the Schmidt’s exhibitions or enhance the public’s experience of art in many forms, including but not limited to film screenings, poetry readings, and concerts.
Schmidt Art Center Children’s Programming Fund
The purpose of the Schmidt Art Center Children’s Programming Fund is to support programs designed to expand children’s enjoyment and understanding of the Schmidt’s exhibits and to enhance young people’s participation in visual art, music, and drama.
Schmidt Art Center Maintenance and Improvement Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Maintenance and Improvement Fund supports enhancement of The Schmidt beyond the regular care and maintenance, including specialize equipment to enhance the display and conservation of the art.
Schmidt Art Center Garden Maintenance and Improvement Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Garden Maintenance and Improvement Fund supports enhancement of The Schmidt’s Sculpture Gardens beyond the regular care and maintenance of the gardens.
Schmidt Art Center Collector’s Club Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Collector’s Club Fund is used for the purchase and display of artwork for the College and Foundation permanent collection.
Schmidt Art Center Gallery Fund
The Schmidt Art Center Gallery Fund is used to support the enhancement of exhibitions and to make possible the display of artwork to the public in the Schmidt’s four galleries.
The SWICarts Fund is used to support the many arts and cultural programs and activities in partnership with other SWIC departments including but not limited to music concerts, film screenings, theatrical performances, poetry readings, the faculty speaker series, and more.
