The Service Advisor will act as the primary liaison for warranty assistance and customer support for a diverse range of unique products, including custom-designed displays, trailers, and vehicles. This role involves logging warranties into the IQS Nonconformance Module and managing customer support manufacturing orders from opening to closure.


• Provide postproduction customer warranty and support to customers by opening and managing service tickets to completion.
• Coordinate internal or external vendors to perform service and/or repair work across the US.
• Handles the administrative tasks of the project including maintaining project management documents with clients and internal processes.
• Researches and submits estimates/proposals.
• Facilitates discussions and conducts meetings to address issues.
• Document and track non-conformances or warranty issues into the Quality database.
• Coordinates the project schedule, monitors deadlines, and provides weekly status updates to management to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget.
• Provide technical support and basic troubleshooting information to field teams.
• Document and provide customer feedback to internal departments. (Production / Engineering / Project Management)
• Ensure resources are available for the project team including documentation, supplies, and subcontractors.
• Develop method of customer acceptance for external service work provided.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to develop national support networks.
• Be knowledgeable of and cross-train on Quality System Requirements.
• Additional evening and/or weekend hours may be required to meet customer needs.


Required Skills:
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 + years of customer service experience in the manufacturing, automotive, trucking, or related industry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to be flexible and multitask in a sometimes-ambiguous working environment.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Take initiative to communicate and solve problems.
• Willing to learn and grow.
• Willingness to provide instruction to other employees.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards customers and team members.
• Ability to learn and provide basic troubleshooting skills to support customer service issues in the field.
• Must demonstrate a consistent and stable work history, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications
• Must be able to display mechanical aptitude and use basic hand tools such as a tape measure, level, drill, etc…
• Knowledgeable of automotive and trucking parts.
Physical Requirements:
• Sitting, standing, and walking in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
• Ability to climb in and out of trailers, scaffolding and up ladders.
• Ability to bend, lift, and position self to move about the office, as needed.
• Required use of fingers and hands to operate a computer.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
