Pathways to Empowerment Through Life-long Learning
Adult Education offers instruction and programs for adults 16 years of age or older who are not enrolled (or required to be enrolled) in secondary school; do not have a secondary diploma (or its recognized equivalent GED/HSE credential); would like to earn their State of Illinois High School Diploma (formerly GED/HSE); interested in earning a certificate in a trade or vocational program; or are unable to speak, read or write the English language. Classes and services are offered at the Belleville, Sam Wolf Granite City and Red Bud campuses; the East St. Louis Higher Education Center; many extension centers throughout the district; and online. All classes are free.
