City of O’Fallon, IL

The ballfield crew is responsible for the setup and maintenance of all athletic fields run by the City of O’Fallon. Typical sports include baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and any other sporting event that may get scheduled. The crew also plays a significant role in park safety and cleanliness to ensure players and fans have a safe, enjoyable experience in our parks.
Typical job duties range from layout & painting of athletic fields, grooming & dragging playing surfaces, tournament setup and cleanup, mowing & trimming turf areas, litter & trash removal, as well as any other general park cleanliness that may be required. With more than 50 playing fields to maintain, it takes a group effort to provide safe, beautiful green spaces for our citizens and visitors to enjoy. We have a variety of morning, evening and weekend shifts available, and we are typically flexible for part-time schedules. Employment is seasonal, typically from March-November.

Hours | 10-35 per week
Pay/Wages | $15-$20 per hour
