Central Machining, Inc., Carlinville, IL

The Machine Operator will operate CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and waterjet equipment while following job travelers, work instructions, and production requirements. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials and finished parts, reading basic blueprints and drawings, verifying part numbers and materials, monitoring machine operation, and making basic machine or tooling adjustments as trained. The position will perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment, maintain accurate production records, and ensure machines and work areas remain clean and organized. The successful candidate will follow all safety and quality procedures, communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors, and work effectively as part of a team to meet production schedules.

Hours | Day: 7a-4p M-Th, 7a-1 p Fri, Night: 4p-2a M-Th
Pay/Wages | $19-$24 per hour based on experience
