Job #1— Assembly Technician
Arnold Defense & Electronics is seeking motivated Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Arnold, Missouri. We manufacture precision aerospace and defense products and are looking for mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in quality workmanship.
Assembly Technicians perform hands-on mechanical and/or electronic assembly using engineering drawings, work instructions, hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and production fixtures.
Responsibilities may include:
• Assemble mechanical and electronic components and subassemblies
• Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation
• Install fasteners, hardware, wiring, connectors, and other components
• Use hand tools, torque tools, measuring equipment, and production fixtures
• Perform basic inspection of completed work
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Follow established quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering personnel
Previous manufacturing, mechanical assembly, electronics, aviation maintenance, automotive, military, machining, or technical-school experience is preferred but not required. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong mechanical aptitude who are dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.

Job #2— Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Manufacturing
Arnold Defense & Electronics is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support our aerospace and defense manufacturing facility in Arnold, Missouri.
This is a hands-on position responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who can diagnose problems, make repairs safely, and help keep manufacturing equipment operational.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and facility equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures and respond to production downtime with urgency
• Install, set up, level, connect, and support new manufacturing equipment
• Maintain and repair welding equipment, presses, forming equipment, pumps, motors, air systems, and other industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot basic industrial electrical systems, switches, relays, sensors, motors, and controls
• Perform mechanical repairs, fabrication, equipment modifications, and basic welding as needed
• Maintain pumps, plumbing, compressed-air systems, ventilation, and other facility equipment
• Assist with equipment moves, installations, rigging, and utility connections
• Develop and execute preventive-maintenance schedules and documented maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe maintenance shop and work areas
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Safety personnel to resolve equipment issues
• Prioritize equipment failures or conditions that are preventing production from operating safely and efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
• Industrial maintenance, electromechanical, manufacturing, aviation maintenance, automotive, HVAC, machining, electrical, welding, or similar technical experience
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment
• Experience with industrial machinery and preventive maintenance
• Ability to read equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, meters, measuring equipment, and maintenance diagnostic tools
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• PLC and industrial-control troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Technical-school training, apprenticeship, military maintenance experience, or equivalent hands-on experience is encouraged
We are interested in both experienced industrial maintenance professionals and technically strong candidates who have developed applicable skills through technical education, aviation maintenance, military service, manufacturing, automotive, electrical, HVAC, or similar fields.
