The Machine & Grind Operator is responsible for machining, grinding, and finishing coated components to customer specifications while maintaining quality, safety, and production requirements. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions and drawings, and consistent execution of established machining and grinding processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machining and grinding equipment.
• Grind and machine coated components to specified dimensions, tolerances, and surface-finish requirements.
• Read and interpret job travelers, work instructions, blueprints, and customer specifications.
• Use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensions and prevent nonconforming or reworked parts.
• Properly handle coated components to prevent damage to finished surfaces.
• Maintain accurate production, inspection, and job documentation.
• Meet established quality, productivity, and delivery expectations.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all HTS Coatings safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
• Communicate equipment, quality, or production issues promptly to the Lead or Supervisor.
• Assist in other production areas as needed.

Hours | 40-50 hours 6-2:30 No OT days, 6-4:30 on OT.
Pay/Wages | 25-32$+
