POLITICAL SCIENCE PRE-MAJOR

Political scientists study the nature of power and the role of government, both in our own nation and in the ever-shrinking globalarena. Political science majors can work in business and industry as labor relations managers, public-relations specialists andlobbyists, or in government as agency directors, urban planners and the like. Many use their talents as writers, editors orjournalists, or they may serve as directors of civic or charitable organizations. Many political scientists go into law, social work andother related fields.
