College for Kids

The College for Kids program is an educational enrichment program for children from kindergarten to eighth grade. The four-day courses are designed to provide students with unique and enjoyable educational, cultural and recreational activities, which are different in form and content from regular classroom activities. Course selection should be based on the current school year grade level.
Free Supervised Lunch Option
Sign up for any combination of Morning and Afternoon classes and enjoy a supervised lunch period at no extra cost! Children will need to bring a sack lunch and drink. A staff member will pick your child up from their morning class at 11:30. Your child will be taken to a designated area where they will eat lunch and enjoy an activity. At 12:20 your child will be escorted to their afternoon class.

Bricks 4 Kidz
Bricks 4 Kidz camps are a fresh and fun way for kids ages 5-13 to spend their school break! Guided by our experienced teachers and built around exciting themes like Amusement Parks, Space and Robotics, children will enjoy using LEGO® Bricks to build specially-designed Bricks 4 Kidz models, play LEGO® games and explore the world of engineering, architecture and animated movie-making. Classes are held Monday through Thursday.
Sciensational Workshops for Kids, Inc.
Sciensational Workshops for Kids, Inc. is dedicated to providing the highest quality programs to make science interesting, fun, and educational for elementary school age children in a hands-on approach. Classes are held Monday through Thursday.
Mad Science summer camps offer a unique combination of fun, hands-on activities, with extended science investigation. Each day follows a different theme, and the children play games, perform experiments and assist with demonstrations all related to that theme. In typical Mad Science fashion, they also make something to take home with them to encourage continued exploration of scientific concepts and discovery. Instructors provided by Mad Science.Children will be provided with a morning and afternoon break and must bring a sack lunch. Classes are held Monday through Friday.

Kids on Campus workshops are presented by SWIC and the Association for Bright Learners’ Education (ABLE). This self-supporting program offers different courses at SWIC for students currently enrolled in grades K-8. Course selection should be based on the current school year grade level. Your child will have an opportunity to learn new ideas and acquire new skills in a college environment while making new friends in this exciting summer program.
