SELF-PACED, & ALL ONLINE!

Participants will need the use of a computer or laptop to complete the lessons (not a cell phone). The classes are completely self-paced, done entirely online, and include videos and quizzes. If you find you need assistance, tutors will be made available.

Classes are open to Illinois residents in the SWIC area. There are three type of certificates to choose from, but currently it is limited to one free certificate per person. These certificates provide college-level training, but do not provide college credit hours.

DATA ANALYTICS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

Includes more than 180 hours of instruction and is suitable for intermediate to advanced computer users.

Lessons on spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau, and R Programming, collecting, transforming, and organizing data in order to draw new insights and make informed business decisions.

Prepares participants for jobs as associate data analysts, operations analysts, data technicians, business performance analysts, and marketing analysts.

PROJECT MANAGMENT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

More than 100 hours of instructions that explains how project managers successfully start, plan, and execute projects using both traditional and agile project management approaches.

Covers stakeholder analysis grids, project charters and more!

Prepares participants for jobs as project assistants, operations associates, project administrators, and technical project managers.

I.T. SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE

Over 100 hours of instructions on Linux, Cloud Computing, and Command Line-Interfaces. Suitable for beginner to intermediate computer users.

Prepares participants for entry level jobs as database administrators, I.T. support specialists, tech support specialist, and help desk technicians.
