The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with daily administrative and operational tasks while gaining hands-on experience in human resources functions. This role provides exposure to recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, training, and HR compliance.
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Support new hire onboarding by preparing paperwork and maintaining personnel files
• Help maintain accurate employee records and HR databases
• Assist with benefits enrollment, timekeeping, and basic payroll documentation
• Provide administrative support for training and development initiatives
• Respond to employee inquiries and direct questions to appropriate HR staff
• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
The ideal candidate has these qualities:
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
