The on-call BOA role is a dynamic and flexible position designed to provide essential administrative support across multiple Edward Jones branch offices. On-call BOAs play a critical role in maintaining daily branch operations and supporting Financial Advisors (FAs) when the primary Client Support Team (CST) is unavailable. While each on-call BOA is assigned a home branch, associates should anticipate working across various locations within their region to maximize availability, skill development, and contribution.
Role Expectations:
1) Flexibility and Mobility: Willingness to support multiple branch locations across the St. Louis region, based on business needs.
2) Annual Hour Requirement: Meet the 200-hour minimum annually, beginning in 2026 and ongoing.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Client Interaction and Communication:
-Greet clients and visitors professionally
-Answer incoming calls and monitor voicemails
-Schedule and adjust appointments at the request of clients or branch team
-Add callbacks and document call notes using firm systems
-Navigate client management systems to address inquiries (e.g., statements, balances, quotes)
2) Operational Support:
-Execute tasks delegated by the FA or BOA within allowable activities
-Process cash transactions including EFTs and check scanning
-Document activities per branch SOPs and ensure CST / FA are informed of client interactions
Hours | 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Mon-Fri
Pay/Wages | Starting $16-$18/hr depending on skills/experience
