Production Worker: The Production Worker is a vital part to the overall operations to the plant. And the experience you have may make you a perfect fit to join our team at our St. Louis plant. You will be called upon to assist with, and may be assigned work in, any area of the plant, including coating lines, slitting, shipping, receiving, paint vault, and packaging.
Some of your Responsibilities include:
• Retrieves and transports bare coils and maintains flow of metal to lines by safely operating cranes, fork lifts, and upenders without damaging material or equipment.
• Trims, packages and bands finished coils according to customer specifications using proper skids, bands, pads, and wrapping materials.
• Inspects coils and identifies and reports defects.
• Reads and interprets production schedules.
• Accurately identifies proper skid and package specified on schedules.
• Reads and accurately records coil weights, order numbers, etc.
• Loads or unloads received or shipped coils onto or off of trucks.
Qualifications
• As the selected candidate, you will need a high school level reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, meters, gauges, documents and instructions, in addition to the following:
• Ability to read and comprehend written materials such as schedules, SOPs, work rules, etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all members of team.
• Ability to safely operate small manual and electric hand tools.
• Available to work up to 12 hours per day on rotating shifts, that could include weekends and holidays.
Compensation: $23.08/hr; 12-hour shifts, hours vary

Some of your Responsibilities include:
• Organize, and facilitate maintenance on all production and facility equipment with emphasis on equipment uptime and to resolve quality and production related issues in the spirit of continuous improvement, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Use electrical test equipment as needed for repair and troubleshooting.
• Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.
• Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules.
• Communicate clearly maintenance situations from one shift to another, including Maintenance Team Leader and Maintenance Manager.
• Plant wide accountabilities for operational aspects including progress toward quality and production goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement in safety, quality and housekeeping.
Qualifications
You will have a minimum of a HS diploma and 2+ years of experience repairing and troubleshooting in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, over-head cranes, forklifts, hoists, 3-phase motors, variable speed drives and controls, and heavy industrial wiring in addition to the following:
• Strong industrial electrical experience required.
• Ability to learn process, equipment specifications and company standards by actively consulting resources, associates, manuals, training department and policies.
• Good practical sense working with and troubleshooting equipment problems. Able to work with minimal supervision within a team environment.
• Must be computer literate, familiar with the Windows Operating system.
Compensation: Starting Pay $32.68 hr; 12-hour shifts, hours vary
