Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) supports the sales team with administrative tasks, lead generation, CRM management, and scheduling. This role creates key sales documents, maintains accurate customer data, coordinates with marketing on campaigns, and helps drive pipeline growth through organized, proactive outreach.
Key Responsibilities-
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, follow-ups, and document preparation.
Create build sheets, purchase orders, and restoration agreements, route for approval and signature.
Enter, update, and maintain customer and opportunity data in the CRM with high accuracy.-
Help implement and maintain a master CRM structure for tracking and pipeline management (fields, stages, workflows, reports).
Support sales representatives with lead generation: research key target markets, build outreach lists, and leverage online tools for prospecting.
Coordinate integrated campaigns with marketing; align messaging, share target lists, and track campaign performance.
Set and track SMART goals for sales volume, customer engagement, and process improvement, report on progress regularly.
Coordinate scheduling for sales meetings, demos, and client calls; prepare agendas and materials.
Build basic reports and dashboards (activity, pipeline, conversion, goal progress) in Excel/CRM.
Maintain sales collateral and presentations; assist with proposals and quotes.
Document and improve sales processes and SOPs.
Qualifications-
Basic understanding of sales principles, pipeline stages, and lead qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and comfort creating lists, fields, and reports.
Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional email and phone etiquette.
Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and follow-through.
Comfortable conducting research and outbound prospecting.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations.
Preferred (nice to have)-
1–3 years in an SDR, sales support, or administrative role.
Experience with e-signature tools (e.g., DocuSign) and basic project/task tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
Industry experience with high-value products or services is a plus.
Success Metrics-
Qualified meetings set and pipeline coverage.
Lead list quality and campaign response rates.
CRM data hygiene and reporting accuracy.
